Technology Services

The Technology Services staff researches, purchases, installs and supports approved hardware, software, and underlying technology infrastructure for the school division.

Tazewell County Public Schools serves as its own Internet Provider and the staff supports the school division's local area networks (LAN), wide area network (WAN), switches, routers, servers, and workstations.

In addition, the staff provides training, both formally and informally, on a variety of software and hardware topics.

Requests for Technology Support and Repair will be posted online by the Technology Facilitator or Library Media Specialist at each school. Teachers and staff members who encounter hardware or software problems should contact their building facilitator in writing to provide a detailed description of the problem.
